Who we are

OnTek Horizon is a software development company based in Rajshahi, Bangladesh. This policy covers this website. It does not cover work we do under contract for clients, which is governed by the agreement for that project.

What we collect

Only what you type into the contact form, and only when you choose to send it. That is:

• Your name, if you give one
• Your email address, so we can reply
• What you are building, if you pick one of the options
• Your message
• How you found us, if you tell us

What we do not collect

This site runs no analytics, no tag manager, no advertising or tracking scripts, and no third-party embeds. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. We do not build a profile of you, we do not track you across other sites, and there is nothing here to opt out of.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and to keep the service running. We do not use those logs for marketing and do not combine them with anything you send us.

Why we use it, and on what basis

To read your message and reply to it. That is the only purpose. In terms the GDPR uses, our basis is legitimate interest: you contacted a business about its services and expect an answer.

We do not send newsletters, we do not run a sales sequence, and we do not add you to a mailing list. If we ever want to do any of that, we will ask first.

Who else sees it

Your message is delivered to our inbox by Resend, an email delivery service, and it is stored in our email provider like any other email we receive. Those two companies process it on our behalf and do not use it for their own purposes.

Our website hosting is provided by Vercel. We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or pass it to anyone else.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within two years. If we start working together, your correspondence is kept for as long as the business relationship lasts and for the period afterwards that our tax and accounting obligations require.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will act on it within thirty days. You do not need to give a reason, and asking costs nothing.

If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

If we add anything to this site that collects more than the contact form does, we will update this page before it goes live rather than afterwards.
