About these terms

These terms apply to anyone using ontek-horizon.com, the website of OnTek Horizon, a software development company in Rajshahi, Bangladesh. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use it.

How we handle what you tell us is set out separately, on the privacy page.

The site is information, not an offer

Everything here describes our services and how we usually work: the disciplines, the engagement models, the timelines and the answers to common questions. None of it is a quote, and none of it is an offer that becomes a contract when you accept it.

Work starts only under a written agreement for that project, setting out its scope, price and timeline. Where that agreement and this site say different things, the agreement wins.

Booking a call and sending a brief

The contact page lets you send us a brief and, if you like, book a call with the team. When you do:

• Give your real name and an email address you can receive mail at. The calendar invite and our reply go there.
• The first call and the written plan that follows it are free, and having them commits neither of us to anything.
• If you cannot make the time you booked, reply to the invite or email us. If something comes up on our side, we will tell you and offer another time.
• We read your brief to answer you and do not share it outside the team. If you need a signed non-disclosure agreement first, say so in a short message and we will sign one before you send the detail.
• We may decline or cancel a booking that looks automated, abusive or unrelated to our services.

The chat assistant

The assistant on this site is an AI. It answers from what we have told it about our services, and it can book a call for you.

• It can be wrong. Its answers are not quotes, promises or professional advice, and nothing it says commits us. Confirm anything that matters with a person.
• A call it books is the same as one booked on the contact page, and these terms apply to it in the same way.
• Do not share passwords, payment details or anything else sensitive with it. Our team can read conversations.
• Use it to find out about our services, not to test what it can be made to say or do.

Using the site fairly

You may not:

• send automated or bulk submissions through the contact page or the assistant, or try to get around the limits on how often they can be used
• probe, test or attack the security of the site or the services behind it
• republish the site’s content in bulk, or crawl it in a way that ignores robots.txt or slows it down
• pretend to be someone else, or send anything unlawful, abusive or misleading

Our content

The text, design, illustrations, photographs and code of this site belong to OnTek Horizon or to those who licensed them to us. Client names and logos belong to their owners and appear here to describe work we did for them.

You are welcome to link to any page and to quote short passages with a link back. Anything more needs our written permission.

Reviews and figures

The reviews on this site come from real clients, and the figures for projects, countries and team size are our own count. They describe work we have done before. They are not a promise about yours.

Other sites

Links to other sites, including WhatsApp, Google and the products of clients we have worked for, are there for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they contain or how they treat you.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the site accurate and running, but we cannot promise it will always be available, free of errors or up to date. We may change, move or remove any part of it at any time.

Our liability

The site is free to use and is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using it or relying on what it says, the assistant’s answers included. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh decide any dispute about them. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you keep whatever protection the law where you live gives you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version on this page is the one that applies.
